Having abstained from bloggin’ about climbin’ for ten whole days, I’m gonna let this puppy off the leash: OMG CLIMBING IS SO FUN. Ahhh. So much better. Like unbuttoning your pants after Thanksgiving dinner. Read more

Outdoor Climbing Classes in Korea: It’s a good thing.

In keeping with the wild mood swings you’ve come to expect here at Abrupt Departure, I’m having a phenomenal day. No, I haven’t finally gone crazy, and this isn’t a manic episode. I went climbing yesterday and it was, to date, hands down, the best day I’ve had in Seoul. Read more

Ugh. I wish HCB would guest post already! He’s called dibs on the biggest pre-Korea, stress-related crisis. This mystery event has tainted the leaving process, but – Hallelujah! – everything has been resolved and in the best possible way. So yeah. Chop chop, HCB. I can’t account for my reversal in mood until you tell your story! Read more
